Day Three

So yesterdays plans of Pasta Salad got moved to today because it was HOT yesterday and I was moving in slow motion.  Then they got postponed again because I was misinformed about the amount of Pasta I had available (which was actual none) and after two trips for grocery type items already under our belt today I decided to postpone pasta salad.  But we did make popsicles with strawberries and kool-aid which were actually delicious (or at least that's what the non-picky eater thought.)  Our day of fun didn't really consist of much fun it consisted of much laundry, but Meghan enjoys doing laundry and can do it herself and it is something that needs to get done even in the summer of fun.  For our biggest touch of fun I made sandwiches for my mom, myself and Meghan and packed a picnic dinner and we ate outside in the park.  The weather is lovely now and actually in the 60s this evening so while rain threatened it was fun and we've all agreed we should do it again.  We did take advantage of our bus pass, using buses to get my mom's and to the store.
