How Me and My Mom Spent the First Day of Summer

Today me and my mom went to the Harold Washington library to sign me up for the summer reading program. First I returned a book I had at home and then I checked out four new books. Then I went to the grown -up section with my mom. She renewed her card and checked out four books. Then we went back to the kids section and we read. At 12:00 I did all the papers I needed to do and got my Summer Reading Program folder and my first sticker. Then we did a craft; the craft was making paper cowgirl and cowboy hats and we decorated them with craft supplies. I can't wait to have more fun this summer!
