Day Seventeen

Another hot day.  I know it's July, what am I supposed to expect?  That doesn't mean I have to like it.  We headed downtown after a leisurely morning at home with our main stop being the Library so that Meghan could do her weekly check-in for the summer reading program.  I also intended for her to go to the Book Beats activity but I screwed up the start time and we were too late.  So instead we wandered upstairs after she'd done her reporting and hung out in the Social Science - History section because my love of reading of about British Monarch's never seems to fade.  From there we headed off for a couple of errands and then eventually ended up at the south end of Grant Park near the Agora installation and we caught a bus and headed south.  Other than running into the usher from our section at a hockey game we went to back in January (who recognized us, that was more than a little weird) we really didn't do much else this afternoon.  We took a lazy afternoon nap again not really very exciting.  What can I say sometimes it's all about the fun of having downtime.
