Joann Pillowcase Class and Earning My Summer Reading Program

Today was my 1st sewing class at Joann. We made pillowcases. On Saturday the 9th I bought the supplies for the class. I needed two fabrics, a spool of thread, a tape measure, pins, a pin cushion, a seam ripper, and sissors. I learned how to sew and how to fill your bobbin with thread. I really liked the class. I can't wait till the next class on Wednesday the 20th. Then we went back downtown and went to the Harold Washington Library to check in my books. Then I got my summer reading program T-shirt. Thats how I spent my day of fun and earning stuff!
