The Day (well almost a day) at Home

Today we spent most of our day at home. In that time at home I was reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and suddenly we lost power. The lights just shut off and so did everything else that was plugged in and it was hard for me to read and I was hot and I kept checking to see if the power trucks were in the alley. So I tried to read and I couldn't, because I was distracted by the lights being out and me being sweaty. Finally I was reading and I was almost at the end of my book and the power came on and suddenly I wasn't hot anymore and I could really read. All of the power was on FINALLY! So I just kept reading until I finished my book. I really really liked the book and I wished that I hadn't finished it because it was sooo interesting. I wish that it was longer so that I could read more and more and more. Later we went out to see my grandma at her work. We had lots of fun with her and we had some dinner with and then she took us home. That's how we spent most of our day at home having fun!
