Michael's Passport to Fun India
Today was the Michael's Passport to Fun day for India. We made Henna hands. We used white construction paper and markers. After that we made elephants. We made them out of red felt, glitter glue and a googly eye. Then we went to Panera and I got a chocolate chip muffie and my mom got a pumpkin muffie and hazelnut coffee. Then we took a number 12 bus down Roosevelt Road until State Street where we took a number 29 down to the blue line station and then we road the blue line out to Damen. At Damen we took the number 50 Damen bus down Damen and then walked the rest of the way to Joann. At Joann I signed up for four classes and bought the supplies I need for the first class which is on monday. On monday we will be sewing pillow cases. The materials you need for the pillow cases are 3/4 of a yard of a one kind of fabric and 1/3 of a yard of a matching fabric. The other stuff you need is: a seem riper, a spool of thread, a pin cushion, some pins, scissors and a tape measure. We also bought a new sewing bag for all of my materials. I can't wait until the class on monday. Then we took the Damen bus back to the blue line and took that to Oak Park and met my Grandma at the Oak Park Women's Exchange. We stayed there until 5pm and helped close and then we went to dinner at Buona Beef. At Buona Beef I got chicken tenders and a VERY yummy brownie. That's how I had fun today!
