It was supposed to be Mexican Lasagna and I will say that it tasted better than it looked, I guess that isn't saying much. Meghan stuck to the cold cereal for that meal. Afterwards it was hot and when Father Phil showed up and suggested we take the dog for a swim, Meghan and I gladly headed off to my old waterfront at Camp Carlen to wade into Lake Wolverine. Despite a little sunburn on my part it was a great way to cool off and the scenery from there is awesome, not to mention that when we got down by the boat docks we came across the swans who were eventually scared off by us. After that it was time for dinner and then a shower before we headed to the opening campfire for the 4th week of camp. This was the whole reason we'd stayed until monday, so that Meghan could see an opening campfire and I have to say the staff did an excellent job and we lucked out since they did the Owasippe Legend. The day ended with the knowledge that we were leaving the next day. Storms were rolling in by the time we headed to our tent and they hit around midnight with strong winds and thunder that seemed to rumble on forever. But we were all safe.
