Day Thirteen
There won't be an update from Meghan tonight, she's at a slumber party and will have to put her two cents in about her thoughts on today at a later day. I can safely say it started off hot and humid but we still braved the weather and headed downtown (via bus of course) to go to Michael's for another Passport to Fun activity. This activty was on the United States and they made a flag pin for their hats out of beads and safety pins and they made small warrior shields as the other craft. As usual the activity was fun and creative and the activites continue to spur our thought process and help us come up with further acitivites for the Summer of Fun. We also managed to grab coffee and a snack at Panera (gotta love the My Panera card) and brought lunch back home for my mom. Then it was time to take Meghan to her party at which point it seems the heat and humidity started to slowly evaporate into a mild evening which was actually enjoyable. I ventured out to pick up dinner for my mom and myself and actually didn't want to die while I was outside and I didn't immediately start sweating just by sticking my head outside. We are supposed to have a milder week ahead and I guess I can't complain much it being July and all.
